The Vernacular Literary Resistance in Colonial Punjab and Colonial Balochistan 1880-1925: A Comparative and Historical Analysis

This study explores the Balochi-Brahui vernacular literary resistance in comparison with Punjabi language from a historical perspective, which has never been highlighted before. Vernacular during British colonial rule triggered numerous physical movements different parts of Raj, Balochistan west to colonized Punjab east. The movement was designed protect against forceful imposition Urdu along English, while had its agenda local Baloch people Christian missionaries who were busy propagating Christianity by using both Balochi and Brahui languages. present is based on mixed method analytical explanatory methods, it endeavored that all sources are critically analyzed. Literary regions powerfully affected state formation full zeal enthusiasm.
